PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter Season! Easter is the most important high holy day in the Church. That is why the Easter Season lasts 50 days — from Easter Sunday, when the Lord left the tomb, to Ascension, when he ascended to the Father, to Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples in the Upper Room.
Easter time is the perfect time to enjoy a rejuvenation of your faith life, as spring is rejuvenating all around us. Some families use this time to be more mindful about their prayer life. One idea is to institute a family dinner and prayer night. You can encourage your children to think of their own prayer intentions and try new prayers every week. Another suggestion is to include prayer into the daily commute, this way the monotonous drive to and from school can have some purpose. Your children can share important aspects of their days and any anxieties or worries can be lifted up in prayer. Easter is a great time to strengthen your relationship with God and encourage your children to do the same!
