REFLECTION
“I am the bread of life…” – John 6:35
This Sunday is the feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi Sunday. I think the important question we need reflect on is what nourishes the spirit?
We need to nourish our spirit and for Catholics this is achieved through relationship with Jesus. It is through prayer, scripture, reflection, and the most sacred Mass that we can nourish our spirit. Christ reminds us that those who believe in him will never thirst or go hungry.
If your spirit is languishing or you are feeling like something is missing, I encourage you to start with prayer and then prioritize the greatest prayer, the Holy Mass. A connection with God is food and nourishment for the soul.

ST. JUDE’S PARENT SUPPORT GROUP (PSG) NEEDS PARENT VOLUNTEERS
The Parent Support Group (PSG) is a necessary parent liaison group between the school and the BC Gaming Commission. The formation of this group meets the eligibility for receiving a government grant from the BC Gaming Commission. This grant money is intended to benefit K-12 students in British Columbia through enhancement of extracurricular opportunities and community involvement. Historically, this money has subsidized field trips and supported various school clubs (i.e. the chess club and nature club). The school cannot apply for this grant unless we have parents who volunteer their time towards forming the PSG. If you are interested in joining or would like more information, please email psg@stjude.ca
