The Patrioteer -November 22, 2024

PRINCIPAL'S CORNER

This is the last week of the Liturgical Year. We celebrate the feast of Christ the King this weekend and then Advent and the New Liturgical Year begins on December 1.

This time of year always makes me feel retrospective and contemplative. What have I accomplished in the past year? How have I helped others and cared for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ? What new resolutions can I make for the New Year?

It’s easy to get down on yourself for all the things you have not done, but new beginnings can be a time of excitement and growth and I try to keep that in mind. I am challenging myself to be more positive and focus on everything I have done in the past year while thanking God for all the blessings I have received.

Happy Feast of Christ the King!

St. Jude, Pray for us!
