PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
This weekend we celebrate both Valentine’s Day and Family Day. It is appropriate that St. Valentine’s Day and Family Day are so close together as both are holidays concerning love!
Through Valentine’s Day we can see that the power of God’s love acted upon in the world is found in the lives of the saints. The St. Valentine of legend was a bishop who ministered and loved the Christian community he worked in during a time of great Christian persecution. When we celebrate love in the world on Valentine’s Day we are celebrating God, because quite simply, God is love!
The family unit is the first place that children can feel and understand the power of love. The love that parents and children share is directly connected to the love of God for us. This relationship of God as Father and we as children is mimicked in the family unit, where love abounds.
This weekend let us celebrate love–God’s love and the self-giving love in our families!

Munchalunch is open for ordering from now till Spring Break. A reminder that the deadline to order hot lunch is every Wednesday at 7am for the following week.
COLD WEATHER REMINDER
Please check the website on snowy days to see if we are open. We will update the website by 7am to reflect whether school will be in session.
We will be going outside on sunny days if we can, please dress your children for the weather. Snow boots, warm hats, warm coats, and gloves will keep your child warm and happy outside!
ST. JUDE ORCHESTRA WINTER CONCERT FEB 26 7PM
Our very own St. Jude Orchestra will be performing on Wednesday, February 26th at 7pm in the St. Jude School Gym.
Come on out to support our student musicians on their big night!

The Art Show and Open House this past Wednesday “In His Image: A Celebration of Unity” was a huge hit. Thank you to Ms. Corea and Mrs. DiFonzo who were the brains behind the artwork and to all our classroom teachers and EAs who supported our students as they became young artists!
