PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
-Traditionally attributed to St. Francis Assisi
Going into the second week of November and the observance of Remembrance Day, we reflect on the concept of Peace. For many of us who have had the privilege to live in a country without the threat of war, Peace can be a nebulous concept. Without war, unrest, strife, and other violence, peace cannot truly be understood. Sometimes it is the absence of a concept that proves the most clarity and deepest understanding of what that concept entails. Peace is not just the absence of violence though, Peace is a willingness to conform your will to that of God. True peace comes through God alone. Through our willingness to actively choose what is best for our neighbor, and to put down our material possessions to follow Christ, then we can truly know peace.
I pray we can all know God’s peace during this month of Remembrance!
St. Jude, Pray for Us!

VOLLEYBALL SEASON UPDATES
The Girls Volleyball season has ended with our girls showing their fierce skills on the court! Sadly no team made it to finals in the oval, but we are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication! Thank you to Ms. Camacho, Ms. Falcone, Ms. Lee, and Mr. Mow for coaching with their whole hearts!
The boys’ volleyball teams are off to a great start! Today Grade 7 boys beat Our Lady of Fatima in a tight game! Last week our Grade 5 Boys secured victory against St. Mary’s. Great job, teams! Go Patriots!
