Reflection
The ability of students to rise to the occasion is one of the many joys of working in a school. On Wednesday, November 20, we had our Open House. In order to showcase our school, I like to have Grade 7 students be the tour guides for prospective parents. To set this up, we had one training session with the 10 selected students who were identified as being confident in their public speaking abilities. The students performed remarkably. They were positive, welcoming, and respectful. New and interested families commented on how thorough the tour was and how well the students could speak about their school. I am proud of our students and I wish to thank them for being excellent St. Jude School Ambassadors.

On Nov.29th, 2019, Grade 6 is sponsoring the next Care Day – all donations will go to support Covenant House Vancouver. So bring a twoonie or more, and come to school wearing the clothes of your possible future career!
Don’t worry if you don’t know what you may want to become, Care Day is a great opportunity to “try something on for size”!

Preparation for our first annual Christmas Masquerade Dinner and Dance is in full swing. Volunteers are needed. If you are available to help out, please contact the office. KINDERGARTEN AND GRADE 7 VISIT SCIENCE WORLD
Kindergarten and Grade 7 both ventured to Science World for workshops in Coding. Later in the day, the students got to explore the many different areas of Science World!
