The Patrioteer – October 31, 2025

PRINCIPAL'S CORNER

Tomorrow is All Saints’ Day, which means today is the Eve, Halloween!

We celebrated with an assembly about Halloween and All Saints’ Day and then a fun Parade in the gym. It’s always so fun to celebrate Catholic Holidays with the students, part of the reason I became a teacher was to share my faith with the new generation and today was a great day to be Catholic!

Now we head into the month of November, the month of remembrance of those who have died. On the first day of the month we celebrate all the those who are in heaven with God, the Saints. On the second day of the month we remember those who have passed on and are currently awaiting purification in purgatory. For more information on All Saints’ Day and All Souls Day, check out this Catholic Review article here. We also have Remembrance Day on the 11th, where we pray for peace. For us Catholics, month of November is one of reflection and prayer.

All Holy Men and Women of God, Pray for us!

St. Jude, Pray for Us!

PUMPKINS! PUMPKINS! PUMPKINS!

The Kindergarten and Grade 1 classes had a wonderful time at the pumpkin patch last week! They enjoyed singing songs on the tractor ride and stomping through the mud. Best of all, they were all super excited to pick a pumpkin to take back to school with them! Thank you to all the staff members and parents who helped make this such a memorable event for the students!

HALLOWEEN

Hallowe’en was so much fun today with all the different costumes and the students had a blast walking in the Hallowe’en parade!  From community workers to minions, Kpop Demon Hunters, Hogwarts students and everything in between!  We also had some students dress up as saints or biblical characters from Moses to St. Padre Pio and St. Joseph.  Have a safe and happy Hallowe’en, everyone!
