REFLECTION

“You have been told, O man, what is good, and what the Lord requires of you: Only to do the right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God.” – Micah 6:8

This month our virtue of focus is obedience. The primary message I delivered to the students on Monday was that who or what we obey says something about what matters most. If love of self is most important, then your own ideas, wants, and needs will come before others. But if God is most important, then we will obey what is right and good and true. We will put others first. We will follow the example of Jesus and the many saints who came after him.

We all listen to and obey someone or something in our life. For the person of faith, obeying God’s will and listening to God’s word is the path to be walked.

NATURE CLUB'S TULIPS COME INTO BLOOM

Back in the fall of 2023, the Nature Club planted tulip bulbs in our garden containers. The tulips are starting to bloom and will soon grace our classrooms with their simple beauty.

WALKATHON PLEDGE SHEETS TO GO HOME APRIL 8

Mark your calendars, it’s the most wonderful time of the year–WALKATHON PLEDGE TIME!

This year will look a little different from past years as we will not be collecting any money ahead of the walkathon.

Walkathon pledge sheets only will be due on these dates: April 18, April 25, May 2

Walkathon Money will be collected on May 14 and 15th.

On Monday, Walkathon Packages will come home.

LIBRARY RENOVATION

Out of 115 respondents, 58.3% said that they support the Library Renovation project and 41.7% were in favor of painting the interior of the school. We understand that both projects are important for the overall beautification and maintenance of the learning environment but we will tackle the Library Project first. This year we hope to raise $30,000. The Library Project is scheduled to go ahead for this summer and we hope we can count on your support!
