The Patrioteer – April 25, 2025

PRINCIPAL'S CORNER

Happy Easter Week!

The fact that Easter Week and Earth Week are both happening this week is a lovely coincidence that gives us insight into the mind of God. Easter is a celebration of rebirth and rejuvenation, while Earth Week reminds us of the importance of caring for that which God has given us. We continue to see the Earth renew herself with the glory of Spring like the Easter renewal we find in our prayer lives at this special time.

I hope you are able to take time this week to thank God for the gift of our Earth and enjoy the outdoors with your family!

St. Jude, Pray for us!

MITE BOXES

If your child has been contributing to their Mite Box during Lent, please have them bring it to the school office.  The donation in the Mite Boxes go towards helping the seminarians in their journey to the priesthood.  Thank you for your support and for your child(ren)’s generosity!

EARTH WEEK

This Earth week we were led in celebration by our very own Nature Club. Nature Club provided us with a thoughtful and meaningful assembly on Thursday afternoon where they highlighted some of the most current conservation events and information. Then this morning, our students were able to participate in flower planting with their buddy classes in a school-wide event led by the Nature Club.

Thank you to our Nature Club and Mrs. Abela for leading our celebrations.

Fun at Floor Hockey Tournament

Students in the intermediate grades had a fun time playing floor hockey at Moody Park Arena today against students from other schools.

Thank you Mr. C for coaching and providing this opportunity for our students!
