PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Today was our 2026 Sports Day–one of my favourite days when I was in school, and now a favourite of mine as a principal! Sports Day is about banding together to support each other and enjoy working together for a common goal. The teams cheer together, compete, and enjoy the beautiful weather. It was so lovely to see older students supporting younger students and younger students cheering older students to victory throughout the day. This mutual love and support is what makes our community special. Thanking God for the gift of community today and every day!

WALKATHON PRIZES
Students have earned a FREE DRESS WEEK to take place the week of June 15-19 and a PIZZA LUNCH will be provided on June 15th for the whole school. We are a Catholic school so please dress your child appropriately, even if the weather is warm, no bare shoulders or short shorts/skirts.
We will do a drawing for prizes on the week of June 15th. Students will receive one ticket for every $50 raised! Some examples of prizes to be won are the Waterpark, Playland, Activate, and the movies!
ORCHESTRA CONCERT JUNE 17
The Junior and Senior Orchestras at St. Jude School will be performing this coming Wednesday, June 17th at 7:00pm in the Gym.. Everyone is welcome, so invite your family and friends!
Good news, the orchestra program is not just for experienced players but also for beginners. You might have a son or daughter going into grades 2 – 7 who would like to join in September. If you’re interested, please email the director Andrew Luchkow at luchkow@gmail.com.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL ASSEMBLY
Our end of the year assembly will take place on June 25th at 11:15am. This assembly will recognize the achievements of our students this year and celebrate a wonderful year of joy and laughter. As our 70th Anniversary year comes to a close we thank our community for the wonderful support and love we have received this year. To another 70 years!

Today was Sports Day 2026! Thank you to Mr. C for running this special day. Our Grade Sixes came up with awesome cheers and our Grade Sevens ran fun games for the rest of the school. What a great day to celebrate being a Patriot. Thank you to the parents who joined us for this fun day!

Registration for the Sports and Arts Camp for students ages 7-13 is now open! Join our dynamic camp and experience the best of both worlds!
