PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
This week we said farewell to our Grade Sevens with a lovely promotion and award ceremony. This crop of students is an exceptional one with so many talented and kind young men and women. It’s always bittersweet to see our Grade Sevens leave us for High School, sweet because we know they will learn and grow apart from our school, bitter because we will miss them! It is true that a person’s time in school is temporary, and teachers know that better than anyone! But the fact that it ends allows us to hold on to the bright moments and really cherish them. Parents, enjoy your children while they are young and equip them to fly from the nest when it is time, us teachers will be by your side working with you to do the same!

ORCHESTRA SPRING CONCERT
The Junior and Senior Orchestras held their Spring concert this past Wednesday and we were all treated to a musical delight of classical and playful pieces. The students practised hard for this concert and everyone played beautifully. Well done! Thank you to the orchestra director, Andrew Luchkow for preparing them for this! If your child is entering Grades 2-7 in September and is interested in learning the violin or cello, please email him at luchkow@gmail.com. There will be an orchestra petting zoo on Wednesday, Jun 24 at 1:30pm for students to get a closer look at these instruments.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL ASSEMBLY
Our end of the year assembly will take place on June 25th at 11:15am. This assembly will recognize the achievements of our students this year and celebrate a wonderful year of joy and laughter. As our 70th Anniversary year comes to a close we thank our community for the wonderful support and love we have received this year. To another 70 years!
SECOND HAND UNIFORMS
The office sells second-hand uniforms at a discounted price. Feel free to come by the office to check our inventory.
LOST AND FOUND
There are a number of unclaimed items in the lost and found. Any items remaining at the end of the school year will be donated or disposed of. If your child is missing any uniform, shoes, tupperware, water bottles, please come by the office to take a look.

You can choose to purchase the starter package (or individual items) for your child or take the list and buy the items at your local store. SUMMER AT ST. JUDE'S - SPORTS AND ARTS CAMP
Registration for the Sports and Arts Camp for students ages 7-13 is now open! Join our dynamic camp and experience the best of both worlds! Stay active with basketball, soccer, volleyball, badminton, and more, while also exploring your creativity through fun arts and crafts projects. Build new skills, express your imagination, and strengthen teamwork in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Move, create, connect, and have an unforgettable time!
